About Me

Hi!

My name is Duyen Le. This is my first semester at USM! I am 20 years old and I transfered here from MGCCC-JD on the coast. I am now a Junior and I only have two years left until I graduate! Very very exciting.

I am an elementary education major so my career goal is, of course, to make a difference in children's lives. I will be moving in with my boyfriend once I graduate and he happens to be in the army. I'm hoping I will be able to travel with him and teach at elementary schools on the bases. I'm hoping to get my degree in general elementary education with an endorsement in math, science, and social studies. These next two years will be pretty tough to get through.

I feel that it is very imprtant to incorporate technology into teaching elementary because as the children grow, more and more technology will be introduced. It would be good for them to learn and advance in technology in order to grow as a student and use the resources there are out there on the internet. I hope to be able to help the children learn more about computers so that they will be able to use this to their full ability.
